Chemolux-Šarić d.o.o. ("we", "us", "Chemolux") respects the privacy of visitors to this website. This Privacy Policy explains which personal data we collect, for what purpose we process it, to whom we may disclose it, and what rights you have in relation to your data, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR, Regulation (EU) 2016/679) and applicable Croatian law.

Through the contact form on this website we collect the data you provide to us yourself:

• first and last name
• company name (if you are applying as a business customer)
• e-mail address
• telephone number (if you provide it)
• the content of your inquiry
• the type of inquiry you select and the program or page from which the inquiry was sent

In addition, with your prior consent, we use cookies to collect certain technical data about your interaction with the website for the purpose of measuring advertising effectiveness (see section 5).

We process your contact form data in order to:

• respond to your inquiry and establish business communication (legal basis: taking steps at your request prior to entering into a contract, Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR)
• keep a record of inquiries and improve the quality of our service (legal basis: our legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR)

Data collected through marketing cookies (Meta Pixel, Google Ads) is processed solely on the basis of your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time.

4. Recipients of data

We do not sell your data to third parties. Data may be processed through the following service providers, solely to the extent necessary to provide the service:

• our hosting service provider (for storing and sending contact form data)
• Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. (Meta Pixel: measuring advertising effectiveness on Facebook and Instagram, with your consent)
• Google Ireland Ltd. (Google Ads: measuring advertising effectiveness, with your consent)

The service providers listed above may transfer data outside the European Economic Area (e.g. to the USA), in which case the transfer is based on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses or other appropriate safeguards applied by those providers.

This website uses cookies:

• Necessary cookies: required for the basic functioning of the website (e.g. remembering your cookie choice). They do not require consent.
• Marketing cookies (Meta Pixel, Google Ads): set only after you click "Accept" in the cookie notice, and used to measure advertising effectiveness and tailor ads to your interests.

You can withdraw your consent at any time by deleting cookies in your browser settings or by resetting your choice through the cookie notice.

6. Data retention period

We retain data submitted through the contact form for as long as necessary to process your inquiry and establish a business relationship, and for no longer than 5 years from the last contact, unless longer retention is required by legal obligations (e.g. accounting regulations). Data collected through cookies is retained in accordance with the retention periods set by the providers of those services (Meta, Google), and for no longer than 12 months.

Under the GDPR, you have the right to:

• request access to your personal data
• request correction of inaccurate data
• request erasure of your data ("right to be forgotten")
• restrict the processing of your data
• object to processing based on legitimate interest
• request data portability
• withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal
• lodge a complaint with the Croatian Personal Data Protection Agency (AZOP), azop.hr
